Hirunaka no Ryuusei

Okay. As I mentioned some time ago in some comments and emails, we'll be picking Hirunaka no Ryuusei for the Original section, and I finally figured out what I'm going to do with this series. Since we didn't buy the magazine from the beginning, there were a quite amount of chapters missing that right now are available over the web if you google properly (VOL1-4). Then, to give continuity with the current scanlation [Chaperts 1-11 ae available @batoto], I just quickly posted the raws for ch 12-28 and gonna start with our raws from ch 29 onwards.

I just read Asahi's blog and it seems she will be doing summaries for this series. However, I don't know if she will be be doing ALL those missing chapters up to ch 39, so let's see what she decides to do and if she have some time to do the whole thing. No pressure, then.
I'll post the complete chapters here bit by bit anyway, so for those fortunate that know japanese, can understand most of the things and maybe they're nice enough to let some clues about what has happened :).

Ah, btw. I lost the transformer of the (multifunctional) printer I have in my home, so I'll have to provide only pictures in the meantime (UGH). When my vacations are over, I'll reupload them. Ah, this mostly applies to Forget me not and Kocchi ni oide yo.

Summary:
15-year-old country girl, Suzume Yosano, has to move to Tokyo to live with her uncle due to her father's transfer. She bumps into a mysterious man who ends up taking her to her uncle's place after she gets lost. Turns out, Suzume will be seeing him a lot more often once she starts school because... he's her homeroom teacher!?

Thanks so much for recommending this series! I finished all 28 chapters on a chinese site in two sittings. It's not the best out there, but it's pretty darn good. I look forward to future scans. >_<

It's amazing how most of my favorite mangas that I need desperately to be updated/summarized/spoiled are on here. It's also amazing how I also discover new mangas to obsess over on here, e.g. Hirunaka no Ryuusei.

Minchi, just know that we all appreciate what you do. We love you to hell for it. Don't ever second doubt yourself -- although, since you went as far as doing what you do, you're probably past that stage already.

It's not the translation but a VERY VERY brief summary of what happened in all these chapters.

Basically, Chunchun confesses to Shishio while the latter pretends to be asleep and hears it. Later on he accidentally betrays himself and Chunchun finds out he heard her, but his reply is "I'm sorry". She thanks him for letting her properly convey her feelings to him and says that she's got this awesome unrequited love towards him, it's great. She gives up.

Some time later that short-haired girl shows up, she's a former girlfriend of Shishio. The whole thing is... they used to date, but she told him she'd be going abroad to work for a few years, and he didn't really react to it only to find her gone and apartment empty later on. One might think they started dating again, but it's just that the girl wanted to help Shishio and Chunchun since she noticed, and, looking at Chunchun Shishio realizes that that's what he needed bakc then - to properly convey his feelings, but it's all in the past now. He and his ex talk and it's okay.

Mamura x Chunchun, and Shishio x his ex go to the festival. Despite having decided to give up, Chunchun runs away at the sight of Shishio x ex, Shishio chases after her, while his ex stops Mamura and tells him not to interfere. Shishio catches up with Chunchun but she tells him not to chase after her, why did he do it? She cries and tells him not to do such half-hearted things and runs away.

Something else happens (maybe, I don't remember). They have the cultural festival.
Oh btw, forgot to tell ya, Chunchun cries and runs into Mamura and tells him she's been rejected right after talking to Shishio back then.
So it seems that Mamura hates Shishio, since he's super rue when serving him at their cafe and also tells him something along the lines that it must be great to be an adult - to cheat/trick a kid like that. It angers Shishio. Some time later Shishio spots Mamura in the hall and they're alone, so Shishio grabs Mamura by his tie and telsl him not to talk about something he has no idea about, "damn brat". Shishio looks really angry.
That same day (as far as I remember), Shishio takes Chunchun to some place private and asks if she hasn't noticed anything. Chunchun is surprised. Shishio says that apparently she will never if he doesn;t properly tell her. ""I like spending time with you the most" (something like that, sorry I don't remember the exact lines). He doesn't flat out say he likes her but this is more than enough to surprise Chunchun but they get interrupted by some girls, and as far as I remember that's basically it.

Also, Chunchun's friend, the one that likes Mamura calls him out during the festival and tells him that her friends likes him, and Mamura says that it's troublesome and he doesn't care (please, don't take my word for it, coz I was more focused on ShishioxChunchun, and my memory's ull of black holes).

If I remember right, one way or another, that girl gets rejected by Mamura. While that new guy who claims he likes her, comforts her. (actually this guy seems to be really nice, at least towards the girl he likes).

There's also some background stuff going on, but I kinda skipped it, sorry^^ Might look at it again if you have a specific place you'd like me to translate^^

Is it only me who can'y find the chapter summaries from 22-32? But seeing others' comments, it shows that they can read the summaries. Is there anything wrong with my eyes? ;_;
