Shiori finally puts in a reminder that this application was made before she lost her memory. She tells them while she has no plans to go into the entertainment industry, but she thinks it is interesting to try and is a rare experience. Since she has passed the first round, she wants to try the next round, but it probably won’t be so easy to get in since there are loads of cuter girls around.
Either way, she is planning to pack her summer holidays with part-time jobs. Akio is a bit surprised and asks if there is something that she wants to buy and needs money. He thinks she should spend time at home since she does not have such experience after her accident. But Shiori thinks doing that is no different from being a patient, and having so much free time with no club activities, doing part time jobs would a better way of spending time.
Akio gives a look of concern, and Shiori just smiles back, assuring him that not anybody can do a job and if she doesn’t like she will just quit.
The truth is that she wants to spend less time with Akio and distract herself from her feelings.
Shiori is on the train with Kai, sharing her feelings of Akio, which she thinks she might, out of an impulse, attack Akio anytime being under the same roof as him. This of course shocks Kai.
Shiori reflects on her “previous life” and comes to the conclusion that she is different from who she was before.
Akio is out on a date with his girlfriend, who agrees that Akio should allow Shiori to do want she wants. Akio on the other hand worries over her job at a dessert factory being too tiring for her since it makes large quantities to be sold in various places. Mizuki thinks it is a positive start for Shiori and tells Akio he is being unreasonable and not to think too much into the audition, just give her his support.
Mizuki reminds Akio that he promised her they will go on holiday during the summer, just the two of them, and Akio looks really blissful that his relationship with Mizuki is going well.
On the last day of school, Yuusuke asks Shiori to go to the beach with them if she is free. Shiori looks to Kai. Kai encourages her to work hard at her job. Guess things are awkward between them since their last conversation.
Akio wakes Shiori up for her job, which she is starting to dread after what it seems to be a few days into the holidays. It is the job she chose and she has to take the responsibility of quitting it, Akio reminds her, and gets her up and going.
Akio is flipping through the magazine that Shiori would be auditioning for and starts to imagine that maybe their mom, after seeing become famous, would come and take them back, but not Akio, which hints that maybe Akio isn’t entirely related to the two sister. But he brushes away the thought, for if it were the case, she would have come for the funeral.
Another memory is recalled, where a woman tells Akio, if he weren’t here...
Kai is at the beach with Yuusuke, who jokes that Shiori is really working hard to buy that cotton candy machine she wants, thinking it is ridiculous. Kai is still bothered by their conversation on the train and starts to sprout things, which don’t make sense to Yuusuke. Chika and the girls walk past the two of them and start to flirt with a group of guys. Yuusuke points that Kai breaks up really easily. Kai shares that he promised Chika he wouldn’t go out with the current Shiori. Yuusuke’s expression obviously shows that he thinks Kai is the biggest idiot around. He says while Kai’s good point is being stupid, but that is what also hinders him, because ultimately, Shiori 1 and Shiori 2 are still the same person. (Kai numbers Shiori pre-accident as 1 and post-accident as 2)
Shiori looks like she is getting on well with her co workers who she tells that her brother makes her lunch for her so that she doesn’t need to buy one. She thinks to herself while unlocking her house door, though this job is difficult, it is just right enough for her, and that she is getting used to it. It is evident that it is working as a distraction from the fact she isn’t nervous at all about the audition the next day. Mizuki has come to their house again and Shiori overhears their conversation and tries to sneak into a better position for eavesdropping. Akio is telling Mizuki that he wants to postpone their trip, which upsets Mizuki. She explains that since his father passed away, he has been taking care of the family while handling schoolwork, making him tired. And it is not like they can do ecchi things at either of their houses, so this trip was to stay at hotels and relax and do ecchi things which she has been holding back. Akio is at first embarrassed, then finally agrees with Mizuki and thanks her. This of course puts Shiori in a bad mood.
Shiori is going off to her audition, but Akio stops her and they start to fight. Akio suddenly ask why is she being like last time, to which he regrets and leaves him stunned.
Shiori finishes his sentence "... always causing trouble?" She takes her backpack out of his hands and leaves.
She apologizes to him in her heart for not being a better kid.
