Little summary thanks to rosehip31:

So, for people who'd like to know what happen on those two chapters: chapter 1 talk about the blond hair girl who attempted a suicide. We do'nt really know why. (just tired of her life maybe or she was bullying...).
Anyway, she becomes friend with the blond hair boy who told her at the end of the chapter that he's at the hospital because he's dying.

On chapter 2 we can see a new girl appearing. Blond hair boy's girlfriend. So we can see blond hair boy's life before he was hospitalized. And at the end of the chapter, the dark hair girl pray god to save blond hair boy's life since he's dying...

Well...that series is almost as much mysterious than "Long goodbye" is...

This series is so sad. It shows the irony of Umeno Shinogiki's attempted suicide to Yuusei Haruhara and the rest of the hospitalized kids who are trying really hard to live. Yuusei has Osteosarcoma, a child cancer, which limits him in his martial arts and sports skills. Umeno's attempted suicide was due to the drastic change in life ever since she entered high school. Before high school, she lived a normal life happily with friends and a loving family. However, upon entering high school, she has to endure bullying and no one is ever home anymore so she is always eating alone. She also doesn't have a single friend. This kind of life, she doesn't want or need.
In the hospital, she is greeted kindly by the other hospital patients Maki, Ken and Kano. Giving Umeno an ice cream, Maki asks Umeno what is wrong with her (what is the reason why she is in the hospital). Umeno flashes a memory of being thrown papers and insults on her back in class. She hesitates to tell Maki and was saved by her melting ice cream.
Later she listens in on the others' dreams and future desires. After hearing that Yuusei does karate from a side conversation, Umeno strikes a karate pose in the bathroom--assuming that's how it would be. Only then did Yuusei enter.
Later he takes her to learn karate outside and she lands a punch on him. She said that it felt really good.
They chat about random things. Yuusei talks about his grandfather fighting bears and his toughness. Umeno tells Yuusei that she's glad she talked to him and he thanks her for listening to his talk.
Later, she finds out that Yuusei was being discharged from the hospital. She starts to cry and he jokes if she wanted to change schools to his. That way he can protect her. Then he asks her if she'll go back to school if she's discharged from the hospital. She cries and says that if she can see Yuusei again then she'll go. He tells her that he has to prepare for a serious talk so he hates it. And does she really have the guts to do so (go to school and meet him)?
If she is able to go to school and comes to see him, he'll treat her to lemon milk. "If you have the guts, show it to me".
