Yui was given the bad news. She has to fight with Aki (her housemate) for the CM model representative. A shock to her indeed since her career has always been ascending steadily (before Aki was spotted). Her mother, coldly and calmly, conveyed the news to Yui. ‘As expected of such a huge CM company. They are very careful with each pick,’ said Yui. ‘Now you understand, there’s no such thing as real friends in our realm. Only the fittest can survive. We are all rivals in disguise.’ Said Yui’s mother. ‘Will I be able to win?’ thought Yui for a moment. Yui acknowledges that Aki has talent and has been spotted by various parties. Me? I’m nothing but a Idol model people adores. Yui’s mother advises her to be prepared because the battle has just begin.
‘I want Aki to move out from your apartment. I’m separating the both of you,’ said Naoko.
The next day, Yui showed up for her usual photo shooting session. This time, with another male model. ‘Say, I’ve been totally excited to meet you, Yui,’ said the male model. ‘Even at first sight, I’m already much fond of you. What say we hang out for a little while after this ends?’. Yui didn’t show much interest or was she paying a lot of attention to what was being said. So the male model took advantage and step up to her, push her closely by the wall and adjacent his body to her.
BOINK~!! ‘Sorry, my bad! Are you alright?’ Katsuki appeared behind them and Yui was saved. Katsuki halfheartedly apologized and dragged Yui out of the scene with the excuse somebody from the studio was looking frantically for her. Yui left with Katsuki only to find out that it was a plot after all, to save her.
Katsuki got very upset. He lectured Yui. ‘How could you so easily believe other guys? Don’t be poisoned by their words just like that , for god sake!’ ‘You’re one to say….’ Replied Yui. Yui is thankful for Katsuki’s kind gestures but can’t help wonder why it’s even necessary. Why does Katsuki still treat her so well. Suddenly, Katsuki grabbed hold of Yui’s arm and said ‘I have something important to tell you, Yui.’
