TnA 37 Mutual love and unrequited love
Chapter begins with Nina walking through the school hallway. There is a commotion surrounding Miyake as people are congratulating Miyake for making it to Konan highschool. Nina approaches the the crowd and the situation grew awkward as Miyake notices her. A girl from their class, who was also aiming for Konan High greets Nina and tells her that they had made it to go to Konan High. Nina was somewhat reserved but then she broke out into a smile and congratulates them. They appear to be confused by her expression but then they smiled back and thanked her. Nina tells Miyake that she will also work hard in to get into Minami high and then she walks away gloomily. Miyake`s friends try to change the topic back to congratulating him but he is still staring at Nina.
Nina is walking in the park and studying her history text(Ounin era 1467 y) when somebody cuts in. It is Yuiko playing baseball. Yuiko apologizes for the tossed ball as she was practicing long throws and the ball slipped out of control . Nina thinks to herself how amazing it is for a school girl to continue to practice after school and so she asks if she is alone. She said she is because she wanted to gather her thoughts and asks Nina to join her. Yuiko is playing with all her might and Nina couldn't really catch up. She asks Yuiko issn`t she putting in too much feelings into the game and Yuiko tells her that it`s boring if she doesn't inject feelings in. She also teases Nina that since she was taught by Kyosuke she should be able to handle this game well. Nina starts trembling and says softly that if she can start throwing the ball. Then Yuiko suddenly asks if she and Kyosuke had talked. Nina was about to answer when Yuiko aims a strong ball at her, making her scream with fright. Yuiko remarks that she`s such a weak girl and then starts yelling at how she envies her because all the men that she likes reciprocates her love. On the other hand, it didn't work out well for Yuiko. Nina is surprised by Yuiko`s outburst, and Yuiko continues that she gets irritated by just looking at her. Now she`s crying and saying that she is so jelaous and doesn`t even want to look at her. Nina then calmly tells her that she had misunderstood the situation, and this makes Yuiko even angrier so Yuiko starts talking about Kyosuke`s feelings for Nina. However, Nina interrupts her and says that there is no mutual love, but again, she had started a one-sided love. (!!!!! J!!!!!!!)
Finally it`s the day of the high school entrance examinations. Nina is leaving her house and her mom is asking her if she has everything with her. Her dad assures her that it's fine if she doesn't get into Minami High. As she steps out, she sees Kyo waiting at his door front with some encouraging words. He says her that she had worked hard so ought to be calm and it will be alright. The test ends and Nina`s dad is frantically calling her mom to know the results. She tells him to stop yelling and that she just spoke to Nina...... (leaving us curious about the outcome). On the other hand, Nina is crossing over to Kyosuke's room via the balcony. Kyo catches her while commenting on the danger. She tells him that starting from April, they can go to the same school again. Kyo happily asks her if she really got into Minami high and she says yes, she has the result. They stare at each other for a moment and then Kyo starts confessing but Nina interrupts him saying she has always loved Kyo. All her memories are about Kyo. He has always been there for her, and she feels very comfortable with him. However, she didn`t understand the real meaning of love and she had hurt him unknowingly. She bursts into tears apologizing repeatedly. Kyo hugs her with a smile and also confesses that he has always loved her but is sorry for hurting her and making her cry. At the end, he says that he will let her go but please stay for a while.
